I'm currently 35 weeks pregnant.. and I have to say that this pregnancy is much easier that my other two and there is less cause for concern. Unfortunately though, I still have many pregnancy discomforts! Like a couple nights last week, I was more comfortable walking around than I was laying down to sleep, even though I was EXHASTED. I also had my regular check up yesterday and was sent to labor and delivery to ensure labor was progressing...but we are already 2cm dialated and well on our way.
Just this last month I spent time in Ocean City, where I received my certification as a Family Development Specialist and an award as Parent of the Year for Southern Maryland Tri-County Community Action Committee, Inc. My Parent of the Year award was presented at a very elegant banquent. Here is a picture of my program director, myself, and my executive director.

Here is a close up picture of the award I received:

Also, here is a picture of Amy Simms and myself at the banquet. Amy is another parent from our agency that went through the Family Development Certification with me:

The conference was wonderful and Roger and the kids were able to come with; which made it that much better. We were able to see atlantic bottle nose dolphins jumping and swiming along the coast from our hotel room balcony on the 12th floor! We had a networking reception with kareoke for one of the nights spent there, where I ROCKED Pink's song RESPECT, with my big belly and all. For the rest of the conference I was known as the Preggo Rock Star for the rest of the conference. It was great seeing my 'audience' really get into the song; loved it!! Another thing that made it really nice was all of the free gifts I received during the conference, that I was able to take back to the kids to play with. I can't wait for the opportunity to doing something similar in the future.
Lastly, we recently moved.. Yet another reason for my delayed blogging. I will be posting pictures soon of the home that captured our hearts.. and pictures of what everything looks like now that we've moved in! :)
