We just had family pictures taken this last saturday. When we recieved our pictures back I was baffled by how big my little man looks. He's bigger and smarter and no longer 'the baby'.
He's a wonderful big brother. I'm actually shocked at times, at how attenitive he can be to Kambrya. He lays beside her and will watch her little movements. When she is out of site, usually in her crib, we have a video baby monitor that HE actually carries around the house. And when sissy is about to cry, he runs into her room to comfort her with words, "It's alright princess, Nikholias is right here."
Nikholi has recently started to say his ABC's, count to 20, and attempt to write his name. I love pictures because they can help capture these moments 'when I think he looks so big and grown up' and then I look back a year later and wish he was that small again.
