I love to see the Temple

I love to see the temple.
I'm going there someday
To feel the Holy Spirit,
To listen and to pray.
For the temple is a house of God,
A place of love and beauty.
I'll prepare myself while I am young;
This is my sacred duty.

I love to see the temple.
I'll go inside someday.
I'll cov'nant with my Father;
I'll promise to obey.
For the temple is a holy place
Where we are sealed together.
As a child of God, I've learned this truth:
A fam'ly is forever.

We had a wonderful day! And to make it even more special, the DC Temple visitors center was holding a photography exibit about "Refelctions of Christ;" a compelling exhibit depicting the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. The exibit was absolutely stunning. The pictures really helped me bring the story to life when explaining Christs journey here on earth.

If you haven't been to the DC Temple, I encourage you to at least seek out the visitors center. It was a beautiful experience to share with my family free of charge. You can learn about the purpose of the temples (which the Relief Society Broadcast, last night on lds.org, helped me have a clearer view). See the Christus statue. With a 500-seat large-screen theater. Films, tours, and exhibits. Open Daily from 10am -9pm.

For love to all.
