Fourth of July

I know the Fourth of July was nearly four weeks ago, and you may be wondering why in the heck I'm posting pictures now. Well I'm a slacker... lol but I figured ya'll would still like to see the pics.
We tried to get a family picture with all of us, but Kambri kind of got cut out.
It was Kesi's first Fourth of July, so I brought her with not wanting to leave her at home with all the new scary noises. Me and my girl, I love her soo much!

We went and sat out by a peir watching the fireworks set off from the River.
I know this is a horrible pick, but you can kind of see how beautiful it was.

My little Kambri in her Stars and Stripes Outfit.

My hubby becoming impatient, wanting the fireworks to start.

The little light globe thing that Nikholi is holding in his hands has not yet ceased to amaze him. Roger and I purchased one for him when he was only 8 months and he loved the dang thing; they were $15 then.. Until he broke it and we frantically searched for another one. Grandma Judi luckily saved the day sending him another one. Then of course that one broke. And now they sell these things at WalMart for $4.00! Kambri also has one and loves it, she actually learned how to push the button on it for it to work at eight months.. Where it took Nikholi forever to figure out, always causing me to have to tape the button down for him.

I love this picture of Kesi, I think it's a great profile pic of her.

It's soo cute, Kambri has this new thing where she will walk around with the phone attached to her ear.. It's so cute, I wonder where she got it from?

We waited a good hour and a half before the fireworks finally did start, but we had a pretty nice little set up. And the quilt that is layed out on the grass that everyone pyled on.. I made it! :) It's actually mine and Rogers old jeans and two of the pockets are still in tact so we can stick stuff in there. I have to say that this quilt is one of the families' favorite.

The fireworks finally began...

And I'm glad I brought Kesi, she jumped frantically into my lap (all 65 pounds of her)!
Kambri was a little unsure what to think at first...

But before we new it she was pointing saying, "See IT?"

Roger and I really enjoyed the loud Booms, but Nikholi, not so much:

I hope everyone had a Happy Independence Day!
Thank a veteran for supporting your Freedom, I know I did.

Looks like you made a levi quilt like the ones I have made. Enjoyed all your pictures.
