It all started with the sun BEAMING through my bedroom window at 6:00 AM (WAY TOO EARLY). I've been tempted to close the curtains, but know if I do, I would NEVER wake up! So I took advantage of my early rising and continued to lay in bed with my computer, only to catch up on all the facebook GOSSIP. The things I find on there every morning, truly make me L-O-L. Unfortunately, it's the only THERAPY I can afford right now.
Then all my booger brats woke up. It was more like a domino effect. I quickly had them all get dressed, I made cereal for Kambri and the "obsessive" POP TART breakfast for Nikholi. I've threatened to stop buying Pop Tarts because I hate the amount of sugar packed into the stupid things, but HONESTLY who wants to argue with a six year old at 7:00 AM (before ANYONE is fully AWAKE)?
Out the door for the bus stop I let Kambri ride her bike. Already a major melt down. When I finally figured out that she couldn't push the peddles on her bike because the front wheel was spun around twice, tightening the break on the wheels. After I fixed the problem, Kambri did an AWESOME job riding her bike ALL by herself all the way DOWN and BACK from the bus stop!
After returning back home, I gathered my purse, forumla, and diaper bag to head out the door again.. UNTIL I NOTICED that the CAT VOMITED in my hallway! I was determined to not let that discourage me or even STOP my insanely busy day.
When we completing our grocery shopping at Walmart I realized that we had wrapped the store four times before I had found everything on my list! Pressed for time, we hurry and check out, I throw the kids in the van, and have Kambri protesting "PLAY DATE, PLAY DATE, PLAY DATE." The only way I was able to have her dress so quickly this morning was to tell her that she could see her friends at a play date.
When returning home, our kitty was laying our front porch rocking chair, and I couldn't help but GRAB THE CAMERA!
Lattice-Top Chicken Stew
Ingredients: 1) 1 package (16 ounces) frozen California-blend vegetables, thawed and drained
2) 2 cups cubed cooked chicken
3) 1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of potato soup, undiluted
4) 1 cup milk
5) 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
6) 1/2 cup french-fried onions
7) 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
8) 1 tube (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls.
Directions:
1) In a large bowl, combine vegetables, chicken, soup, milk, cheese, onions, and seasoned salt. Transfer to a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish.
2) Bake, uncovered, at 350 defrees F for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, separate crescent dough into two rectangles. Seal perforations; cut each rectangle lengthwise into four strips. Working quickly, weave strips over warm filling, forming a lattice crust. Bake 15-20 minutes longer or until crust is golden brown.
While making this delicious recipe x2, I was also editing BASEBALL PHOTOS for my son's baseball team. Check out this awesome one I captured before I took the kids' individual and team pictures with the coach.
I just love abstract photos like these. It just gives a whole new perspective and I love it! Of course when I showed my husband the photo he was soo critical and said, "You chopped of his head, I can't even see him!" *Ugh* MEN!As soon as the casserole finished WE WERE OFF again! This time to Nikholi's Karate Graduation. While watching the class I couldn't help but laugh when the instructor addressed Nikholi and said, "Do you ever stop talking?" I wanted to so badly reply, "NO, SIR!"
While getting gas, I brought Nikholi's baseball uniform in the van and had him change. That's right, MY DAY STILL ISN'T OVER! Luckily, at Nikholi's baseball game I had the opportunity to chat with some more ExTrEaMlY AwEsOmE MoMs! Seriously... I want to know where they get all of their awesomeness. It just seems to radiate off of these ladies and it makes my day ONE MILLION times better than when it's just me stuck at home with my GOOFY kids. Oh, and I was able to take MORE PICTURES!!! :) Did I ever tell you how much I LOVE MY CAMERA!?
When we finally returned home it was 7:00 pm. Although, my husband claims it was closer to 7:30 pm. Either way, I heated dinner while the kids ran around the house SCREAMING, and my husband was ironing his uniform. After dinner my husband informed me that the trash needs to go out and then had the balls to ask me if I was going to do it! AHH! I wanted to scream right then and there! Instead my awful glare must have made it through because he put on his shoes and took the trash out.
I was really hoping we would have been able to walk down the driveway ALONE together, but was woken up from my blissful dream with a hard pinch and the kids screaming and following us out the front door. *Sighs* oh well.
I did capture this picture though..
Ahh. That boy is soo fricken cute! I really wonder sometimes how he became soo handsome! After we finally put all the kids down for bed... I was begging for my husbands attention [he's been soo distracted lately and SLEEP is a HUGE culprit in tearing apart the desire for romance]. When we started laughing we hear Kambri yell, "Mom, DON'T HURT MY DAD!" As Roger and I continue snickering, Kambri yells, "Dad, It's NOT FUNNY!" I hopped in the shower and by the time I was out, Roger was fast asleep, so much for anytime of romantic encounter.. I really feel so neglected sometimes. Mostly emotionally. There just isn't time in the day to give back to each other what we put out all day for our jobs, our kids, and our lives.
I'm going to bed now, peace out!

You have done a wonderful job caputring the life of your family on film. Wonderful memories to cherish. Your children will be able to appreciate all of your efforts in documenting their progress. Especially when they are older.
